The old man on the stairs literally points at Greer after he shoots Kennedy and then drops his arms as if to say, "I just saw the government kill Kennedy and there's not a damn thing I can do about it." You can also see Greer's left arm/elbow coming down after he shot jfk.
If you look at the Wilma Bond slide #4 taken right after the assassination only the Babushka Lady is standing in the vicinity where the limo was. All the other spectators are on the ground while she remains frozen standing there. Bet her missing film caught Greer in the act real close up and it couldn't be altered and she must have seen Greer shoot JFK also.
ReplyDeleteIs she the woman right of Jean Hill? Do you know for sure she was filming?
ReplyDeleteYes she is on the right of Jean Hill in the above film but in the Wilma Bond slide she appears on the left oddly. In films & photos that day she appears with a film camera strap on her rain jacket and pans the limo as it comes down Elm Street as if she was filming and not taking photos. Any film taken from her vantage point would have been extremely close and doubtful it could have been altered back in 1963 without significant destruction of many frames.Even the above Muchmore Film has been restored; the original has an ugly splice in it across the limo right after the head shot.
ReplyDeleteWhere are these slides you speak of? Are you saying there are frames but no running film?
ReplyDeleteWilma Bond was a bystander in Dealey Plaza that day who had a slide camera to take slide photos ( photos that can be projected onto a screen; popular back then). She didn't take any photos during the assassination only before and just after. Slide # 4 stands out with the Mysterious Babushka lady. She is to the left of Jean Hill & Moorman on the ground in it and in front of Charles Brehm and son on the ground also.

The Babushka lady also appears in the Bell Film at the 40 sec mark approx

The camera pans away from the overpass as the limo speeds ahead of the lead car (strange Kellerman said he radioed the lead car immediately) and pans back to where the limo was when JFK was shot and she is standing there still mere seconds after the fatal head shot.
The original Muchmore film with splice across limo at 1:42 min http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xesq57_jfk-assassination-films-marie-muchm_news
ReplyDeletefrom huckster Groden source material.
You will notice that a splice also runs thru the "the Old man in the Red shirt" in the original Muchmore film. Wonder why? hmmmmmmm you figured it out!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat info! Thanks, Hal. I think she ended up left of them after the shot.
